Both Holden & Bolster Avenir Pty Limited and Holden & Bolster Financial Solutions Pty Limited are bound by the Australian National Privacy Principles and are committed to respecting the privacy of your personal information.

We hold personal information about our clients, customers, prospects, suppliers, and staff. This information includes names, addresses, phone number, email addresses, and may also include other personal information such as credit card and bank details ~ where necessary. We also hold information to enable us to contact clients and others to inform them of services we provide, of updates to our web site, newly released ebrochures, and to maintain business records.

Only our employees and those who confidentially perform services for and on our behalf are authorised to handle or have access to your personal information. All our employees are also bound by both our own Code of Conduct and by confidentiality clauses in their employment agreements. Those who confidentially perform services on our behalf are also bound by privacy and confidentiality agreements.

The usage of your personal information.

We will only disclose your personal information where we are allowed to, or obliged to do so by law, or where we have your express or implied consent.

Where we disclose any of your personal information to organisations that perform specific essential services for us, we limit this disclosure to only the information they need to perform the service. Importantly, we bind these companies and service providers through contractual arrangements to the same standard of care as we uphold ourselves.

They are only given the right to use the personal information for the single specific service or function that they are performing, and can not legally provide or use this information for any other purpose.

The destruction of your personal information.

We will take all reasonable steps to destroy personal information in a secure manner or remove all identifying features from it, if it is no longer required by us.

Digital information policy ~ electronic conduct.

If you received an email from us your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared with us your electronic address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ('opt-in'), or you used a service provided by us, or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of data used by our system.

If you wish to stop getting our emails, each email sent contains an easy way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

The sharing and usage of your digital information.

We will never share, sell, or rent individual digital information records with anyone outside our business operations, and service partnerships, without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Digital information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information, and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our electronic communications with you.

The collecting of your digital information.

We understand that when you access our web site or interact with us online, the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information in its digital format is important to you. We are therefore committed to electronically safeguarding the personal details you provide us.

Each time someone visits our web site, our web server may collect the following types of information. Our web server is not collecting information of any kind at the moment.

1. The number of users who visit.
2. The date and time of visits.
3. The number of pages viewed.
4. How users navigate through the site.

In the future this data may be captured so that we can evaluate the effectiveness and quality of our navigation design, and its content for the purposes of improvement. No attempts are now ~ or will be ~ made to identify anyone browsing our web site.

If we start to collect information we will use the technology called cookies. They can record information about your visit to our site, allowing it to remember you next time you visit, and therefore provide a more meaningful experience if we program the web site to do so. It is not at present.

They are designed so that they can not be sent to another site ~ or be retrieved by any site other than ours.

We may also allow third parties to collect statistical data from our site using their persistent cookies. However their cookies also can not capture information that can personally identify you. They will simply be used to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

If we do start using cookies, you may at any time turn off our cookie usage in your browser. Your experience with the pages of this site, or navigation between pages, will not be degraded in any manner.

The securing of your digital information.


When we capture your personal information electronically, like your email address when you make an enquiry, it is passed through our internet provider's secure server using encryption technology which scrambles the information to ensure it is protected over the internet.

We can not guarantee the policies and procedures of any other web sites that may be linked from our web site. They may or may not comply with the same privacy standards that we do and so you should take care to evaluate their particular privacy standards, and procedures as needed. However there are none linked at present.

Under the Australian National Privacy Principles you can access information we hold on you. You may request updating of your information, and also its permanent deletion from our records.
